We're going to Ireland again next year!!

June 10-19, 2014

We had such an amazing time this year that we have to do it again. These trips have been described as "tours for people who hate tours" and that couldn't be a better description. Several folks on this year's trip said it was the best vacation they've ever taken.

We'll once again visit three counties for three days each and hear great music wherever we go. We'll take 20-22 guests, travel in a small luxury coach/bus and stay in small hotels and an occasional bed and breakfast. Cost is $2250 per person based on double occupancy. Single rooms are an additional $500 per person for all 9 nights (single room availability is limited). The fee includes all ground transportation, all lodging. including full breakfast. We also provide 3 evening group meals, and the cost for our featured Irish musicians, poets, writers, etc. Guests pay for their own flights to and from Shannon International Airport, all lunches, 6 dinners on your own, ferries and optional activites, and, of course drinks, tips, etc.

Here's the basic itinerary for next year's trip--

Next year we'll be visiting counties Mayo, Galway and Clare--stay tuned for more details on the itinerary. As always there will be a lot of music. Some nights we hire a local songwriter to come play for us, most nights we go to an Irish pub for a traditional music session of jigs and reels followed by songs. No doubt, we’ll end up singing a few...you?

If this sounds like something you’d like to do, or if you’d like more information, by all means to contact us.

Here is a nice YouTube link of some of the places we visit in Ireland. Blackie, the piper, is a friend of ours and plays for many of our groups in Doolin County Clare. Enjoy!

Let's go canoeing!

We're all full for this year but there's a waiting list!

Dates for this year's trip on the Green River in Utah are August 7-11.  We’ve done this 5 day trip for the past four years and each time has been absolutely wonderful. So many of you wanted to go we thought we'd do it again. We start just a bit south of the town of Green River and head south toward Canyonlands National Park. This is a flat water trip--no rapids, but the scenery is not to be missed. Join us!!! Five days of canoeing, hiking, and camping in some incredible canyon country--and we play music in the evenings. No, you don't have to be an expert or a triathlon type or from Colorado! And yes, by all means bring an instrument if you can!! This will be our ninth trip and each year has been a whole lot of fun.

For reservations and more information go to Centennial Canoe Outfitters (www.centennialcanoe.com or 1-877-353-1850). Price is about $630 per person, and that includes all food and drink. You bring clothes, a tent and sleeping bag, Centennial supplies the rest. Marty and Julie at Centennial really go out of their way to make these trips both fun and rewarding, not to mention safe (and we always enjoy the Robert Service poems...). We really can't say enough about this--we always look forward to these trips--its going to be another great time! We’ve assembled a photo gallery of past trips here.

Reverb Nation and Facebook and Stuff Like That...

We’re in the process of linking up our Facebook and Reverb Nation sites to make it a little easier to find us. Oh yeah, and we now have a YouTube page, too. We’re officially staying away MySpace, though--never liked it much at all (someone did point out that there is a Small Potato MySpace page...not our doing).

See ya--
