Come to Ireland in 2018!!

What an amazing time! These trips have been described as "tours for people who hate tours" and that couldn't be a better description. Several folks on this year's trip said it was the best vacation they've ever taken.

We'll once again visit three counties for three days each and hear great music wherever we go. We take 20-22 guests, travel in a small luxury coach/bus and stay in small hotels and an occasional bed and breakfast. Cost is $2400 per person based on double occupancy. Single rooms are an additional $500 per person for all 9 nights (single room availability is limited). The fee includes all ground transportation, all lodging. including full breakfast. We also provide 3 evening group meals, and the cost for our featured Irish musicians, poets, writers, etc. Guests pay for their own flights to and from Shannon International Airport, all lunches, 6 dinners on your own, optional activites, and, of course drinks, tips, etc.

We'll tour the sights by day, visiting fishing villages, ancient stone circles and church ruins, the Cliffs of Moher, and The Burren, to name a few. And at night...incredible music. Some nights we hire a local songwriter to come play for us, most nights we go to an Irish pub for a traditional music session of jigs and reels followed by songs. No doubt, we’ll end up singing a

June 16-25, 2018 Cork, Kerry, Clare

If this sounds like something you’d like to do, or if you’d like more information, by all means to contact us.

Jacquie put together these lovely photos of our last two Ireland can come next year! (Music is from the Chicago's Academy of Irish Music's CD, "Cruinn"--our friends Karen Reshkin and Michael O'Regan were members of the band)

Let's go canoeing!

(These trips are on hold right now...sorry)

Dates for this year's trip on the Green River in Utah are August 3-7.  We’ve done this 5 day trip for the past five years and each time has been absolutely wonderful. So many of you wanted to go we thought we'd do it again. We start just a bit south of the town of Green River and head south toward Canyonlands National Park. This is a flat water trip--no rapids, but the scenery is not to be missed. Join us!!! Five days of canoeing, hiking, and camping in some incredible canyon country--and we play music in the evenings. No, you don't have to be an expert or a triathlon type or from Colorado! And yes, by all means bring an instrument if you can!! This will be our ninth trip and each year has been a whole lot of fun.

For reservations and more information go to Centennial Canoe Outfitters ( or 720-283-0553). Price is about $674 per person, and that includes all food and drink. You bring clothes, a tent and sleeping bag, Centennial supplies the rest. Marty and Julie at Centennial really go out of their way to make these trips both fun and rewarding, not to mention safe (and we always enjoy the Robert Service poems...). We really can't say enough about this--we always look forward to these trips--its going to be another great time! We’ve assembled a photo gallery of past trips here.
